*** THURSDAY NIGHT IS TRAINING NIGHT ***
EVERY THURSDAY NIGHT FROM 6PM ONWARDS IS NETS AND TRAINING AT THE GROUND. THE CLUB HAVE INVESTED IN A NEW NET WHICH CAN BE PUT UP ON THE SQUARE ALLOWING BOTH BATSMEN AND BOWLERS TO PRACTICE ON GRASS WICKETS. WE ALSO ARE LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE OUR VERY OWN LEVEL 2 ECB QUALIFIED COACH (VEALIE) WHO WILL HELP AND COACH EVERYONE WHO IS THERE. HE ALSO TAKES US THROUGH A FEW FIELDING DRILLS WHICH NOT ONLY IMPROVE OUR CRICKET, BUT ARE ALSO FUN TOO. SO DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS GREAT OPPORTUNITY OF FREE COACHING AND COME ALONG TO THE MCG EVERY THURSDAY NIGHT. ANYONE IS WELCOME.

NATWEST CRICKETFORCE 2009.

Maresfield Cricket Club would like to thank everyone who was involved in the NatWest Cricketforce day on Saturday. A lot was acheived on the day and this couldn't have been done without everyones help. So thank you to Sussex County Cricket Club and in particular, Robin Martin-Jenkins, Will Beer, Chris Liddle, Keith Greenfield, Roger Newman and the 2 ladies who helped out on the day, to Natwest who sent a couple of employees along allowing us to receive a donation from them, to Parker Building Supplies in East Grinstead for donating materials to make a new scoreboard with, and ofcourse to everyone who came along on the day to do the various jobs. Special thanks must go to Vicky who put a massive amount of time and effort into organising the whole thing. Well done everybody.

Welcome to the official website of Maresfield Cricket Club. If you are looking to play cricket this summer then why not try our friendly village club.
